Roll oall s howwd the following officers present: Mayor j)avis, Commissi oner Henson, Attorney ~onniff and Clerk Hawkins. The minutes of the previous session Vlerelread and approved. Under the head of Applications for Licenses the following were granted: Street Shop, 1 Card Table W. M. Rideout, 1 Card Table Olympio Cafe & Recreation, 2 Card Tables J. C. Breitlauch, Master Piumber Under the head of Unfinished Business,- The ~ity ~ngineer reported to the ~ommission that he had checked the bids for the alteration of the City Building at 138 and 140 West Front Street, the bids being as follows: 5.00 5.00 10.00 25.00 Sig Larson Vim. Gorsegner Geo. Taylor A. W. McLean $3,562.26 3,150.00 2,906.00 3,770.64 The bid of Geo. Taylor appearing to be the lowest and best bid, it was moved by Commissioner Henson that the contract be awarded to Geo. TaylrnT. Seconded by M~or Davis. On roll call all members voted aye. The MaYrnT declared the motion earried. The bids for installing the plumbing were opened and are as follows: Harold Hibbs James" Caven J. C. Breitlauoh $145.00 140.00 150.00 The bids for installing the flooring were opened and are as follows: Raecolith Flooring Co., Moultile Asphalt Tile ~loor " "" Raecol1 th Composi ti on Floor Kaufman-Leonard Co., Armstrong Straight Line Inlaid Linoleum .$ 937.00 920.00 1035.00 The above bids were laid over for consideration.
