Roll call showed thefullowing officers present: Mayor Beetle, Commisoioners Beam and Lind, Attorney Conniff and Clerk Hawkins. The minutes of the previous session were read and approved. Under the head of ApplicatiolS for BuildiIIg Permits the following were granted: E~ick B. Berglund, Build House, N! Lot 2, Elk. 74, Townsite MFs. Fred Machenheimer, Addition at House, Lot 17, Block 128, D. W. Morse SuM. Under the head of Introduction of RElsolutions the followiIIg resolution was intrcduced: 500.00 500.00 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, The City of Port Ange;es is the owner of the following described real property, haviIIg acquired the same by Treasurer's deed, dated October 28, 1941, under and by virtue of the authority of Section 9595 of Remington's Revised statutes, Chapter 145 of the Laws of 1929, page 565, to-wit: Lot Seven (7), Block One Hundred Eighty (180) of the Townsite of Port Angeles, Clallam County, WashiIlgton, and WHEREAS, Leonard J. Knudson has offered to purchase the above described real property from the City of Port Angeles for the sum of $150.00, and WHEREAS, 'he City Commission of Port Angeles has viewed the said proprty and is of the opinion that the offer is fair value and is in excess of the amount paid by the City for said property, plus all L.LD. assessments, including interest and other charges against the same. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the said offer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the said property at private sale to the said Leonard J. Knudson for the sum hereinabove set forth, subject to any other valid liens against the same; that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a quit claim deed conveying said property to the purchaser, and that the City Clerk of the City of Port Angeles be and he is hereby instructed to execute said quit claim deed, and that the Mayor of the City of Port Angeles be and he is hereby instructed to countersign said quit claim deed. It was moved by Commissioner Beam that the foregoing resolution be approved and adopted. Seconded by Commissioner Lind. On roll call all members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried. Under the head of New Business: Ralph Daniels requested in an assignment of his interest in and to Lot 14, Block 57, Townsite of Port Angeles to E. R. Gehrke, Jr. that the deed, when the full purchase price is paid, be issued to the said E. R. Gehrke, Jr. The sale of the above described property was authorized by resolution dated September 20, 1959, and recorded in Vol. 20, Page 88 of Commissioners ProceediIlgs. There being no objections it 1\'8S moved by Commissioner Beam that the City Clerk be instructed to issue the deed to said property to E. R. Gehrke, Jr. as requested. Seconded by Conmissioner Lind. On roll call all members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
