The Cmmnission met i1 regular session at 10:00 A.M. and w"s called to order by Mayor Feeley. 6fficers present were: Mayor Feeley, Commissioners R?binson ana Taylor, Attorney Trumbull and Clerk Law. lI..inutes of' the previous session were read and appr?ved. Under the head of unfinished business, Commissioner Taylor reported that he had not been able to contact Mr. Del Guzzi regarding releas~ of property and responsibility at the ~:orse Creek gravel pit. It was understood that ~a-. Del Guz~i only requested release of responsibility from slides or lateral support. It was moved by Commissioner Taylor that the Attorney be instructed to prepare a proper agreement releasing Mr. Del Guzzi of a~ responsibility. Seconded by Commissioner Robinson. All voted Aye. l:oticncarried. I ASlreviously instructed, the Attorney submitted a lease and agreement between the City and Clallam County 1 CMlp Fire, Inc., for LOt 24, Block 64, of P.S.C.C., Subdivision of Suburban Lot No. 23, of the U. S. Govern:" ment T01msite of Port Angeles, The docUllient was approved as submitted and signed by the officials. I The Commission received from G. C. Field, Architect, notice of appeal to the Construction Controls Division for reconsideration of previous denial action for construction of a jail and volice station. It was moved by Commissioner Taylor that the notice be filed. Seconded by Commissioner Robinson. All voted Aye. Motion carried. Under the head of new business, Commissioner Taylor informed that purchase of a power machine t.~inten~nce would save considerable expense for the street department. It was moved by Mayor bids be published for purchase of the power sewer cleaning machine to be opened Nov€lJ\ber 19.' Commissioner Robinson. All voted Aye. Di~cuss~d were problems of Cities. including finance, improvements, etc. Under the head bf reading and passage of Ordinances, the following was placed on third and final reading: ORDINANCE NO. 1261 AN ORDINANCE vacating a portion of the alley running in a Northerly and Southerly direction through Block Two (2) of Cain's Subdivision o~ Suburban Lot Twenty-One (21) in the City of Port Angeles. It was moved qy Commissioner Robinson that the foregoing Ordinance be passed third and final reading and adopted. Seconded by' Commissioner Taylor. All voted Aye. Notion carried. Under the head of introduction and reading of Ordinances, the following were introduced and placed on first and second reading: ORDINANCE NO. /-?6~ AN ORDINANCE of the City of Fort Angeles approving and confirming the assessments and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 154 of the City of Port. j\ngei!!es, created by Ordinance No. 1245; levying and assessing the amounts of such assessments against the several lots, tracts and parcels of land end other property as shown on such assessment roll; ordering that collections of such assessments, creating and establishing a special local improvement fund for said district. It was moved by Commissioner Robinson that the foregoing Ordinance be passed first and second reading. Seconded by Commissioner Taylor. All voted Aye. Hotion carried. ORDINANCE liO. /~, ~ AN ORDINANCE authorizing the issuance and sale of Local bnprovement Bonds for Local Improvement District Ho. 155 Of the City of Port Angeles to pay the cost and expense of the improvements in said district as ordered and provided for in Ordinance No. 1246 of the City of Fort Angeles; providing for the term of such bonds and fixing int erest rates. It was moved by Conmissioner Robinson that the foregoing Ordinance be passed first and second reading. Seconded by Commissioner Taylor. All voted Aye. Motion carried. Ray Turner requested that mindmum prices be fixed for Lot s 11 and 12, Block 152, Townsite, and Lots 11 and 12, Block 153, Townsite, as he is interested in purchase of the same. Earl Davidson recommended that minimums be set at $275.00 for the lots in Block 152, and $200.00 for lots in Block 153. It was moved by Commissioner Robinson that the recommendations be approved and call for bids published to be opened November 12. '!.fotion seconded by Hayor Feeley. All voted Aye. Motion carried.
