The Commission met in regular session at 10 A.M. and was called to order by Mayor Beetle. Roll call
showed the following officers present: Mayor Beetle, Commissioners Beam and tind, Attorney Conniff and
Clerk Hawkins.
The minutes of the previous session were read and approved.
Under the head of Applications for Building Permits and Licenses the following were granted:
Mrs. Ruth Young, Repair House, Lot 10, Block 54, "ownsite
Sig Larson, Repair Store Building, Lot 18, Block 51, N. Ii. "mith Subd.

Under ihe head of Reading Petitions, the following petitions were read and referred to the City Engineer:
PETITION
A petition presented by the officers of Cla11am Lodge, No. 72, LO.O.F. and Mountain View Rebekah Lodge,
No. 54, asking the City to improve the property adjoining their property at 514 W. 1st Street by putting
in Cernen t Sidewalks.
PETITION
Signed by TomClark and other residents of South Pine Hill District asking that dirt left at 16th & Pine
Streets after widsning and grading the street,be removed.
The Cbmmission then adjourned to meet Thursday, October 51, 1940, at 10 A.II:.
