Roll call of officers revealed the following present: Mayor Epperson, Commissioners Steele & Johnson, Attorney Wilson and Clerk Law. Under the head of applications for buiLding permits and licenses, the follawing were granted: 11 K ~ duilding permits: I~ ~tJlJ Guy Bellinger, Sr. Remodel frame structure; Lots 12 & 13, Blk. 72, Tovmsite D. C. Stamper Build Dwelling; Lot 1, ~lk. 288, Townsite Port Construction Co. Repair Garage; Lot 15, Elk. 14, Townsite H. R. Craver Build Garage, Add Back Porch; Lot 1, 3lk. 303, Townsite D. D. Landru Build Dwelling; Lot 14, Blk. 342, Tovffisite David Law J,:oving House; Lot 17, Blk. 151, Townsite Licenses: "Olympic Laundry & Cleaners II 'C. Vi. I"olchoir, representing the Pacific Telephone & Telegraph Company, requested infoma tion regarding license or regulations for Eobile Radio Telephone service, and was duly informed that there are no regulations or objections. '1 ~ i I Cleaning &. Pressine 5.00 Emil Johnson requested a lease for 150 foot frontage on Ediz Hook and was informed that the Port Angeles Salmon Club now has lease on property. lir. Cotterel of the Rainbow Tav/l'l'n presented a map for new structure which he contemplates tuilding to replace the present site of .1he said "avern. The Commission and Engineer will investigate and subwit ;decision at next session. . Commissioner Steele moved that the bids on four Unit Substations be extended from November 13th to November 27th. Seconded by Commissioner Johnson. All members voted Aye. ],:otion carried. lhe Bond for Owens Bros. Contractors for construction of sidewalks in Improvement District No. 148 was lia pproved and signed. The irnprovelilent of East First Street was again discussed by the Coll'nIission, and as the property valuation not sufficient to form in:provement district, and there are no other available funds, it was moved by Commissioner Johnson that tho offer as planned and specified by P.R.A. be rejected at the present time. !ISeconded by Mayer Epperson. All voted Aye. Motion carried. The Comnission went on record as approving all resolutions and proposals ir~roduced by the Officers of the ,~ssociation of Washington Cities at the regional meeting in Port Townsend, October 25th, which will go before the 1947 Legislature. liThe third monthly estimate for ffi3terial furnished by Angeles Gravel & Suppl;r Co. on mineral aggregate contract for $1,433.20 was approved by the Commission. The Engineer reported constrnction regulations issued by the C.P.A. Construction office. The regu.lations require that a Federal Permit is necessary for Commercial construction over $1,000.00, and Residential construction over $400.Qo.. It was moved by llayor Epperson that the Commission go on record as approving the new regu.lation. Seconded by Commissioner Steele. All members voted Aye. Motion carried. Under the head of introduction of resolutions for the sale of real properly by the City, the follov,i.ng were introduced: James D. and Zelma /.I. Sehell E1a Lot 16, and All of Lot 17, Blk. 3, Hartt & Cooke's Subd. of Suburban 31k. 31, 'l'ownsi te 340.00 John H. Danz Lots 36, 37, 38, of Perkins Subd. of Lot 32 300.00 Henry Danz Lots 39, 40, 41, of Perkins Sutd. of Lot 52 500.00 .It was moved l:lf Commissioner Johnson that the foregoir.g resolutions be approved and the property scld.
