Roll oall showed the following Offioers present; Mayor Davis,Commissioners Beam and Filion, Attorney Plummer and Clerk Hawkins. The minutes of the previous session were read and approved. Lioense was granted to Phyllis Burke for resturant in Commercial Hotel, The following re~~l~t~on was introduced.~~Km. RES 0 L UTI 0 N BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COW~ISSION OF THE CITY OF PORT ANaELES,WASHINaTON,that, WHEREAS, the time for the regular triennial City primary and Qeneral Eleotion is apprcaching,and WHEREAS,under the statutes, the County Election Board is required to oonduot said elections and issue notice thereof and prepare and supply the balance therefor and pro- vide for eleotion boards in the several precints, and ~ ' WHEREAS, the City of Port Angeles operates under the Commission form of government and within a sohool district of the first olass, within a port distriot in a fourth class oounty,EH the time of said eleotion is fixed bySeotions 5150 of the Eleotion Laws whioh fixes the general City eleotions on Saturday, Deoember 2,1933, and the City primary eleotion for Monday, November 20,1933. , BE IT RESOLVED that the County Eleotion Board be and said Eleotion Board is hereby requested to issue the notioes and hold each of the said elections in accordance with the- laws relating to the same, the City primary election upon November',20,1933, and the City general election upon December 2,1933. . BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the oost and expense of said election be portioned to the said City of Port Angeles as provided by law. " BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk,and other City Offioials, be and are here- by instruoted to provide the County Election Board with all the neoessary information as to the number and names of candidates filed for the positions of Mayor and Commissioners, and- to provide suoh information as may be neoessary for the notices of said eleotion and the preparation of the ballot, and in all respeots to aid and assist in conduoting the said City primary and general eleotions. , COmmissioner Beam moved that the foregoing Resolution be adopted. Seoonded by Commissioner Filion. On roll oall all members' voted aye. The Mayor deolared the Motion" oarried. . The following olaims were examined and approved and the City' Cl?rk was ordered to issue warrant in payment of the same.
