I The Conunission met in regular session at 10 A .M. and was called to order by Commissioner of Finance
I Beam, acting Mayor. ROll call showed the following officers present: Commissioners Beam and Masters,
Attorney Johnston and Clerk Hawkins.
The minutes of the previous session were read and approved.
Under the head of applications fOr, building permits the following were granted:
Cha~. Warner, remodel kitchen, Lot l6i mock 329, Townsite ,
Harry Cohen, partition in building, E. Lot 18, Blk. 14, Townsite ,
R. M.. CUmmings, Construct garage, Lot 1, Blk. 25, N.R. Smith Subd.
J. V.' Driesche, Repair building, Lot 19, Blk. 99 Townsite

Under the head of Reading and PEssage cf Ordinances, the following Ordinance was read in full and passed.
its prd reading and adopted:
An ~dinance amending Ordinance No. 898, adopted by the Ci~ Commission January 3rd, 1950, and effective
from its lawful publication on January 7th, 1950, regulating the granting of building permits, providing
for their submission to the City Commission before being granted, and requiring the submission of plans
and specifications and authorizing the ~ity Commission to deny a permit when, in the opir~on cf.the
Commission, such permit should not be granted.
It was moved by Commissioner Masters that the foregoing Ordinance be placed on its 3rd reading and
finally adopted. Seconded by Commissioner Beam.On roll call all members voted Are. Acting Mayor Beam
declared the motion carried.
The Commission eX8l)lined a!ld allowed the following claims and ordered warrants drawn for same :
