Roll call showed the follorlng officers present: Mayor Robinson, ColpjIissioners Beam and Masters, Attorney Johnston and Clerk Ha1lkins. The minutes of the previous session were read and approved. Under the head of Applications for Licenses the following were granted: Brock's Street Shop, 1 Music Machine tiddane's Cafe, :I. Amueem':nt Machines Brock's Street Shop, 1 Amusement lIachine Liddane's Cafe, Restsurant E. Worth, Second !land Dealer 9.00 36.00 24.00 8.00 10.00 Under tbe bead of Introduction of Resolutione the following reeolutions were introduced: RESOLUTION WHEREAS, Tbe City of Port Angeles is the owner of tbe following described real property, having acquired the same by Treasurer's deed dated November 8, 1945, under and by virtue of the G uthorlty of Section 9595 of Remington's Revised Statutes, Chapter 145 of the taws of 1929, page 565, to-wit: Lots five (5), six (6), seven (7) end Eight(8), Block Four Hundred One (401), Townsite of Port Angeles, Washington, and WHEREAS, Frank Florence has offered to purchase the above described real property from the City of Port Angeles for the sum of $140.00, payable as follows: $14.00 as a down payment and $10.00 on or before the 5th day of each every month thereafter untU piid in full, together with interest at the rate of 7% per annum on monthly balances and paid with t he monthly installment, and WHEREAS, Tbe City Coumission has viewed the said property and is of the opinion that the offer is fair value, and that at this time it is to the best interest of the City that it should be accepted and the aale made. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said ot:fer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the said property at private sale to too said Frank 'lorence for the sum hersinsbove set forth, subject to B:nY othar valid liens against the same; tbet the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a quit claim deed conveying said property to the purchaser, and that the City Clerk of the City of Port Angeles be B:ndhe is bereby j.nstructed to execute the said quit claim deed, and that the lIayor of the City of Port Angelee be andhe is bereb,y instructed to countersign said quit claim deed when the pruchase price and all accrued interest thereon has been paid in full. It was moved b,y Commissioner IIasters that the Coregoing resoluti cn be approved and adopted. Seconded by CotlIllissioner Beam. On roll call all members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried. RESOIDTION WHEREAS, The City of Port Angeles is the owner of tha following deacribed real property, having acquired the SSllll by Treasurer's deed. dated November 8, 1943, under and by virtue of the authority of Section 9595 of Remington's Reviaed Statutes, Chapter 143 of tbe taws of 1929, page 365, to-wit: Lots Ten (10) and Eleven (ll), Block Four Hundred Fifteen (41S) of the TOllllsite of Port Angeles, Clellam County, Washington, and WHEREAS, Leon J. lIonpas has offered to purchaee from the City of Port AngeJe a the above described real property for theaum of $70.00, payable as follows: $7.00 down payment, and $7.50 on or before the 8th day of December, 1945, aDd $7.SO on or before tha 8th day of each snd every month thereafter Until paid in full, togetOOr with the interest on monthly balences at the rate of 7% per annum, and WHEREAS, TIle City Colllllission hae viewed the said property and is of the opinion that the offer is fair value and is in excess of the amount paid by the City for said lots, plus all L.LD. assessmentB, including interest and other charges against the same. AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles providing for the adoption by reference oC the provisions of Part 6, Book V, Rulee and Regulations of the State Board of Ilealth, es revised and adopted April 24, 1942, and providing for the iseUBncB of permits for the operaticn of any place for t he handling of food within the City of Port Angeles, and providing penalties.
