II ROLL CALL Members Present: Mayor Whidden, Councilmen Hallett, Hesla, McPhee, Quast, Schermer, Stamon. Members Absent: None. Staff Present: CITY COUNCIL MEETING Port Angeles, Washington November 10, 1987 Manager Flodstrom, Attorney Knutson, Clerk Anderson, P. Carr, M. Cleland, R. Orton, S. Brodhun, L. Glenn, J. Pittis, T. Smith, L. Danks, A. Rose. Public Present: G. Pettit, L. Cochrun, R. French, T. Gage. III VI SUSPENDED VII WORK SESSION Council, staff and members of the public discussed the following top priority and high priority Goals as follows: (1) Maintain and Enhance the Financial Stability of City Government; (2) Expand and Diversify the City's Economic Base; (3) Address the Solid Waste Disposal Needs of the City and Region; (4) Enhance Effectiveness of City Operations and Delivery of Services; (5) Promote and Support Tourism; (6) Enhance Citizen Involvement and Communication With City; (7) Improve City Facilities; (8) Improve Streets and Traffic Systems. New Chairs Purchased for Council Chambers Following discussion, Councilman Quast moved to purchase seven chairs for Councilmembers for the new Council Chambers, the cost of the chairs being $265 each. He further moved that those chairs be the style Mr. Lemon was seated on in fabric of grey or burgundy. Councilman Stamon seconded and the motion carried.
