Proceedings of the City Commission of the City of Port Angeles, Washington

The City Conunission met in regular session at 10:00 A .f.~. and \yas called to order by Mayor Epperson. Roll III
call of officers showed the following present: Mayor Epperson, Commissioners Johnson and Steel, and Clerk
Law.

:John Rimbaugh, member of the Soy Scouts, was introduced 1Jy the Mayor. Junior Rimbaugh informed
required to atter.d a meeting of the Commission, thereby attaining a civic merit badge. He also
.the )loy Scouts might assist in making Christmas decora,tions for streets.
Dnder the head of unfinished business, City Engineer Dodge recommended that the fifteen per cent retained on,
!trwmvater Trestle be paid. It was moved by Commissioner Johnson that the final amount of $2,960.95 be paid td
the Port Construction Company. Seconded by llayor Epperson. All members voted Aye. Eotion carried. I
~l Pfahler spoke before the Commission regarding permit for cleaning and pressing shop, and was advised that I
definite decision would be available at next session.

The one bid by Aiken Motors, to furnish. car for Police Department was opened. After due consideration, itl
was moved by t~yor Epperson that,the bid of Aiken &otors for $1,776.81 be accepted. Seconded qy Commissione~ Johnso
,Johnson. All members voted Aye. Motion carried. 'I
~nder the head of new business a delegation fFOm the Merchants Bureau, headed by Walter ~iller, met with the
Commission regarding Christmas decoration for streets. Mayor Epperson assured the delegation that the City',
was ready at all times to co-operate, and after discussion, it was agreed that the Commission and all others 1'1
'interested would work out plane to secure and install said decorations.

and he is here1Jy instructed to issue a warrant in the amount of Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00) for the
purchase by the City of the said property.
It was moved by Commissioner Johnson that the foregoine resolution be approved and adopted. Seconded by
