ROll call showed the following offioers oresent: Mayor Davis, Commissioners Lutz and Masters, Attorney Plummer and Clerk Hawkins. The minutes of the last session were read and appr~ved. Under the head of Applications for Lioenses the following was granted: Olympic Laundry & Cleaners, Cleaning and Pressing ~5.00 Under the head of New Business: . I C. A. Wolverton, Chief of the Fire Department and Inspector of Fire Hazards, made complaint D. S. Lewis was operating a dry cleaning plant in a bUilding ,at 133 East Front Street, Port Angeles, ,Washington, owned by the Washington Motor voach Company. without having complied with the provisions of Ordinance-No. 874 of the City of Port Angeles; that the operation of such a place under such circumstances obnstitutes a nuisance. The Commission after duly considering the matter instructed the City ~lerk to notify the said D. S. Lewis and the Washington Motor Coac~ Gompany to appear before the City Commission on the 28th day of November, 1934, at 11 a.m. dnQ show cause, if any there be, why the premises so used should not be abated as a public nuisance. George Varmetter having applied for permission to use the South half cf Lots 3' & 4, Block 295, Townsite, for gardening purpose~, It was moved by Commissioner Masters that George Varmetter be granted the use of the South half of Lots 3 & 4, Block 295, Townsite, for gardening purgoses for ~he year 1935. Provided, however, that in case of a sale of the lots by the vity at any time, or that the lots should be heeded for City purposes, then this grant shallbe void and the lots relinquished to the City. Motion seconded by Commissioner Lutz. On roll oall all members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
