The Commission met in regular session at 10 A.M., and was called to order by Mayor Robinson. Roll call
showed the following Officers present: Mayor Robinson, Commissioners Bear & Masters, and Clerk Hawkins.
The minutes of the previous session were read and approved.
Under the head of applications for building permits, the foll~dng permit was granted:

I Under the head of reading and passage of Ordinances, the following Ordinance was read in full, and passed

It was mOllred by Mayor Robinson that the foreeoing Ordinance be approved and adopted. Seconded by
Beam. On roll call all members voted Aye. The Mayor declared tlue motion carried.

unforseen, providing for the issuance of emergency vTarrants, declHring an emergenc:,. making this Ordinance

Under the head of introduction of Resolutions, the follovting eight Resolutions were introduced:

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The City of Port Angeles is the ovmer of the following described real property, having acquired
same by Treasurer's deed dated October 9, 1945, under and by virtue of the authority of Section 9393 of
Remington's Revised Statutes, Chapter 143 of the Laws of 1929, page 365, to-wit:
Lot Eleven (ll), Block Two Hundred and Tv{enty-nine (229), Townsite of Port Angeles,
Washington, and

I has offered to purchase the above described real proparty from the City of Port Angeles, for the sum of

II and that at this time it is to the best interest of the City that it should be accepted and the sale made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the said offer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the
said property at private sale to the said Board of Trustees of the Washington Conference of the Free
Methodist Church of North America for the s~ hereinabove set forth, subject to W1Y other valid liens agaivst
the same; that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a quit claim deed conveying said property to the
purchaser, and that the City Clerk 0 f the City of Port Angeles be and he is hereby instructed to execute said
quit claim deed, and that the Mayor of the City of Port Angeles be and he is hereby instructed to counter-
sign said quit claim deed.

property at private sale to the said David C. Law for the sum hereinabove set forth, subject to any other
valid liens against the same; that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a quit claim deed conveying
said property to the purchaser, and that the City Clerk of the City of Port Angeles be and he is hereby
instructed to execute said quit claim deed, and that the Mayor of the City of Port Angeles be ar.d he is
hereby instructed to countersign said quit claim deed when the purchase price and all accrued interest
thereon has been paid in full.

The matter of the condition of thecontra:ct vlith John Goneis for the purchase of the lf~ of Lot 5 and the
E~ of Lot 6, Block 1, Tideland, East of Laurel Street fn lront of the, City of Port Angeles, Washington
came up for consideration and the Commission instructed that said John Goneis be given a statement shaw-
I ing the balence due on his contract and notice that the amount due on said contract must be paid within
thirty' days from,the date of said notice, otherwise the resolution authorizing the said sale will be
cancelled and revoked without further notice.
Harold' Brown and Dean O. Willmot appeared before the Commission representing the business men of Front
I Street" and asked the Commission to lease to the said Front Street business men the West ~ of Lot 5 and
the East ~ of Lot 6, Block 1 Tideland East of Laurel Street in front of the City of Port Angeles to be
'~sed as a parking place for the dovm town district for a term of 25 years at $12.50 per month, the said
business men agreeing to bring the grade of said property up to the grade of Front Street.
There being no further busihess the meetine vms adjourned.
