The Commission met in regular aession at 101\.M. and was called to order by Mayor Davis. Roll call
showed the following officers present: Mayor Davis, Commissioners Beam and Masters, Acting Attorney
Taylor and Clerk Hawkins.
The minutes of the previous session "ere read and approved.
Under the head of Reports from City Officers the following report "as read:
November 21, 1939
To the Honorable Mayor and City Commission,
Port Angeles, Washington.
Gentlemen:
I herem th submit the first and final estimate of work done and material furnished by the
WashingtOn Asphalt Co., contractors on City Street Project No. 10, Lincoln Street from Third to Eighth
Street. .

1019 lin. ft. Concrete curb and gutter @$1.21 per lin. ft.

247 lin. ft. 6 in. Concrete sewer pipe @ 35~ per lin. ft.

be instructed to issue a warrant in the sum of $5715.7? to The Washington Asphalt Company. Seconded by
Commissi~ner Beam. On roll call all merebers yet.ed aye. The Mayor declared the moticn ~Ilrried.
Under the head of NCl'.' Business,-
Edward E: Schlager's term as a member of the Firemen I s and Police Civil Service COlIlI1lission having expired,
the Mayor submitted his name for reappointment for a six year term on said Commission. It was moved by
Commissioner Beam that the foregoing appointment be confirmed. Seconded by Conmissioner Masters. On
roll cal~ all members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
