The Commission met in regular session at 10 a.m. and was called to order by A~or Davis. Roll call showed the fo1101nng officers present. Mqror Davis, Commissioners Renson and Masters, Attoreey Conniff and Clerk llawkins. The minutes of the previous session were read and approved. Under the head of applications for building permits and licenses the following were granted: R.A.Bundy Remodel Home, Et lot 14 & W~lot 15, Blk 36, ~N.R.Smith Subd.) Alteration of attic, lot 11 blk 87, lownsite 2nd "and Dealer . (Red's Taxi Co.) 2 cabs Restaurant Restaurant at 158 West 2nd St. So ft Drink 500.00 50.00 15.00 10.00 15.00 8.75 2.92 D.D. Rhebeck Brown's 2nd Hand Store . Francis E. Dent The Rhodedendron Mrs. Ellen Basore Herbett E. Smith, having notified the Commission that he had sold his business, the Red's Taxi CompnY, to Francis ~. Dent and requested that his Taxi License No. 4414 be transferred to the said Francis E. Dent. There being no objection, the Commission instructed the City Vlerk to transfer smd license as requested. Under the head of new business: An agreement by ami between the Crown Zellerbacll Corporation and the Chicago Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad Comprny, was presented to and read by the COHUnission whereby the Crown Zellerbach Corporation grants to the Chicago, Milwaukee, St.~Aul and Pacific Railroad Gompany, a strip of land across Lot 1 and 2 of the Ediz Hook Lighthouse Heservation to be used ~9r the construction, maintemance and operation of a railroad line consisting of one or more tracts. The agreement being in proper form the 'Commission approved the same and insturcted the Mayor to sign the same on behalf of the City.
