Roll Call ,I showed the following officers present: Mayor Robinson, Corrunissicners Beam and lfJ8sters, Attorney Johnston, and Clerk Hawkins. The minutes of the previous seeeion were read and approved. Under the head of Building Permits: Irene Wmod, Ernest Charest Wm. Gorsegnor Wm. Gorsegnor Willi. Gorsegnor applications for building permits and 1 icenses, the following were granted: Shingle Dwelling, Lot 7, Elk, 1, N.R.Smitp, Remodel House, Lot 20, Blk. 232, Townsite Remodel Soorn front, Lot 12, Elk. 16, N. R. Smith. Partition & lighting, Lot 11, Blk. 16, N.R.Smith. Ii !i Under the head 0 f introduction of resolutions, the following resolution was introduced, RESOLUTION 11HEREAS, The City of Port Angeles is the oymer of the following described real property, having acquired same by Treasurer's deed, dated November, 28, 1945, under and by virtue of the authority of Section 9595 Remington's Revised Statutes, Chapter 143 of the Laws of 19:<9, page 365, to-wit: Beginning. at a point 100 feet southerly from the north west corner of Lot 10, Block 1, Tide Lands west of Laurel:" , ..., l~ 1 0 ~~...,-hA~~~'T1J ~:~ ~:r ,'gee ~ thence at right angle in an easterly direction a distance of 75 feet to the center line of Lot 9, thence at right angle in a southerly direction a distance of 20 feet thence at right angle in a westerly direction a distance of 75 feet, thence at right angle in a northerly direction alcng the west line of Lot ]0 a distance of 20 feet to point of begirning, all in Lot 9-10 Block 1 Tide Lands west of Laurel Street in the City of Port Angeles, and W'rlEREAS, J. M. Davis has offered'to purchase the above describod real. property from the City of Port Angeles for the sum of $350.00, and WHEREAS, The City Commission has viewed the said property and is of the opinion that the offer is fair value and at this time it is the best interest of the CitY" that it should be accepted and the sale made. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that tho said offer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the said propertY" at pri\!ate salo to the said J. M. Davis for the sum hereinabove set forth, subject to any other valid liens against the same; that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a quit claim deed convoying said propertY" to the purchaser, and that the CitY" Clerl< of the CitY" of Port Angeles be and he is hereby instructed to execute said quit claim deed, and that the Mayor of tho City of Port Angeles be and he is hereby instructed to countersign said fUit claim deed. It was moved by Commissioner Beam that the foregoing resolution be approved and adopted. Seconded by Comm- issioner Masters. On roll call all members voted Aye. The l!.ayor declared the motion carried.
