The Connnission met in regular session at 10 A.l~. and was called to order by Mayor Davis. Roll call
showed the following officers present: Mayor Davis, ,Commissioners Henson and Masters, ~ttorney Conniff
and Olerk Hawkins.
Under the head of Applications for Building Permits the following were granted:
Epperson & Scns, Construct House on S~ of Lots 1 and 2, Block 578, Townsite
Harry !loore, Construct Chicken Coop, Lot 9, Blk. B, Cain's Subd. of Sub. Lot 18, Townsite

Amusement Game Location Licenses were allowed by the Connnission as follows:

I Police Judge, Thos. Geisness, reported 58 cases tried and $540.50 collected in fines for the month of
November, 1958. Report ordered filed.

Under the head of Introduction of Ordinances the following ordinance was read in full and placed on its
first and second readings:
AN ORDINANCE regulating the preparation, inspection, marking and sale of meats intended for human con-
sumption; providing for the making of reasonable rules and regulations concerning the same; defining
offenses and providing penalties.
The following ordinance' was read by ti Ue and placed on its second reading;
: AN ORDINMiCE regulating and licensing the preparation, marking, handling and sale of meats, groceries,
vegetables. and other food stuffs intended for hUman consumption; providing a regulatory and revenue
license fee to be charged for handling the same; defining offenses and providing p~nalties and declaring
an emergency.
The Commission examined and allowed the following claims and ordered warrants dra.m for same:
