The Commission rnt in regular session at 10 A.It. and was called to order by ).Iayor Epperson. Roll call
'revealed the followine officers present: Mayor Epperson, .commissioners Steele and Johnson, Attorney Wi.lson

The. minutes of the previous session were read and approved.
Under the head of applications for building permits and licenses, the following were granted:

l.:embers of the Park doard, John Como, and others appeared before the Conrnission regarding purchase of lots at
Fift.h and Oak Streets for playground purposes. It was the opinion of the cOJmnit tee that children should be
provided with recreation facilities protected from traffic. The Park .3oard was instructed to contact the
pwner of lots desired and have contract dravm, payment to be made as soon as could be arranged.
If~ request by the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Gompany for an extension to !.larch 1, 1947, for paJ'11lent of
;the la st c.uarter of 1946 Occupational Tax was granted.
E. R. Nailor spoke before the Gomr.,ission regardinB out of tcwn solicitors for roofing and insulation
contracts. The Commission informed there were no restrictions or licenses governing ~~ch solicitations.

under the head of intrcduction of resolutions for the sale of real property by the Gity, the followine was
introduced:

It was moved by Commissioner Steele that the one resolution be approved and the property sold. Seconded by
'Commissioner Johnson. All :nembers voted I\.ye. Uotion carried.
