M. and was called to order by Mayor Robinson. Roll calli showed th'e "following officers present: Mayor Robinson, Commissioners Beam and Masters, Attorney Johnston and Clerlc Hawkins. ~ The minutes of the previous session were read and approved. Under the head of Applications for Building Permits the following were granted: Leonard Schroeder, Remodel cooler, W! Lot 2 mock 15, Townsite R. J. Fowl~r, Move house onto Lot 6, Block 70, Townsite Police Judge, W. F. Phillips, reported 96 cases tried and $1,006.50 collected in fines for the month of November, 1944. Report ordered filed. Under the head Introduction of Resolutions, the following resolution was introduced: Resolution 200.00 900.00 WHEREAS, theiGity of Port Angeles, is the owner of the following described real property, having acqUired the same 'crt Treasurer's Deed daten March 4, 1945, under and by virtue of the authority ~of "'ection 9595 of Remington's Revised Statutes, Chapter 145 of the Laws of 1929, page 565, to-wit: The East 50 feet of Lot Ten (10) and the East 50 feet of Lot Eleven (11), Block Seventy-Two (72) Townsite of Port Angeles, Washington WHEREAS, Cluy Bellinger, Sr. and Mary E. Bellinger, husband and wife, have offered to purchase th~ above described real property from the City of Port Angeles for the sum of $250.00, and WHEREAS, the City Commission has viewed the said property and is of the opinion that the offer is fair value and that at this time it is to the best interest of the City that it should be accepted and the sale made.. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the said offer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the : said property at private sale to the said Cluy Bellinger, cSr. and Mary E. Bellinger, husband and wife, . for the sum hereinabove set forth, subject to any other valid liens against the same; that the City ..,' Attorney be instructed to prapare a quit claim deed conveying said property to the purchaser, and that I the City Clerk .of the City of Port Angeles be and he is heraby instructed to execute said quit claim deed, and that the Mayor of the City of Port Angeles be and he is hereby instructed to countersign said quit claim deed. j Passed by the City Commission and signed by~he Mayor this 15th day of December, 1944. It was moved by Commissioner Masters that the foregoing resolution be approved and adopted. Seconded by Commissioner Beam. On roll call all members Voted Aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried. Under the heed of New Business: Hugh Govan was granted permission to remove the dirt on Alder Street to the grade as staked on said street, from First to Second Streets.
