OroT."...... ."'~,~".. .0"" The Commission met in regular session at 10 a.m. and was aalled to order by Mayor Davis. Roll Gall showed the following officers present. Mayor Davis;Commissioners Beam ann Filion,Attorney Plummer and Clerk Hawkins. "The minutes of the previous session were read and approved. Under the head of introduotion of Ordinanoes the following Ordinance was introduoed an~ placed on its First and Second Readings,- "AN ORDINANCE Prohibiting the sale or gift of liquor in publia places; prohibiting the sale or gift of'liquor to minors; prohibiting the drinking of liquor" in public places; defining as a nuisanas aertain plaoes operating in violation of the law and city ordinances and providing for the closing and abatement thereof; repealing ordinances No. 404,No. 550, and No. 610 and all other ordinances in oonflict herewith and deolaring an emergency. 'The offioial Bonds of the City Attorney and the Chief of Polioe were" approved. 'Under the head of New Business,- poliae Judge Thos Geisness having been granted leave of absenoe on vaoation by the Commission,- 'It was moved by Commissioner Beam that John Geisness be appointed poliae Judge Pro-Tempore during the absenas of the Police Judge,and that his salary be the same as fixed by Ordinanoe an resolution for the Police Judge. Seconded by Commissioner Filion. On' roll call all members voted aye. The Mayor dealared the motion aarrie~. .
