The Commissiom met in regular session at 10 a.m. and was called to order by Mayor
Davis. Roll call showed the following officers present. Mayor Davis, Commissioners Lutz
and Masters. A ttornay Plummer ,.nd Clerk Hawkins.
The minutes of the previous session were read and approved.
Under the head of applications for licenses the following were grante1,-

Under thc head of Introduction of Ordinances the following ordinance was introduced,
read j.n full and placed on its firs t and second readings,-
AN ORDINANCE Confirming the result of the special bond election held September 29,1933
Ratifying ordinance No.989 providing for the reconstruction of the Eight Street bridges I
over Valley and Tumwater Gulches in Port Angeles ,and authorizing the issue of j55,OOO.OO
negotIable serial bonds of the City to provide funds for said improvement; Providing for
the form and maturities of the bonds and the issue and sale thereof: Creating an Interest
and Redemption Fund providing for annual tax levies for the payment thereof and declaring
an emergency; I
Whereas ,at a special bond election held in the City of Port Angeles on September 29,
1933,pursuant to Ordinance No.989 of the City of Port Angeles, the said Ordinance No. 98~
was duly ratified and approved by the electors, and the electors by ballot authorized ,
the City Commission to borrow $55,000.00 an~ for said purpose to issue and sell ~55,000.00
negotiable serial coupon bonds of the City to provide funds for the reconstruction of
the Eight Street Bridges over Valley and Tumwater gulches as set forth therein.

Under the head of unfinished business,-
The hearing of D.S.Lewis and the ~ashington Motor Coach Company for abate~ent of the
building at 133 East Front Street for operating a Dry Cleaning Plant in said premises
without complying with re~uirements of Ordinance No.8?4, came up, and it appearing that
both D.S.Lewis and the Lowry Land Company the tenants of said building were vacating
the premises ,the matter of the hearing was dismissed.
The Commission examined and allowed the following claims and ordered warrants drawn
for same,-
