The Commission met in regular session at 10 a.m. and was oalled to oraer by Mayor
Davis. Roll Gall showed the following officers present. Mayor Davis,Commissioners Beam
and Filion,Attorney Plummer and Clerk Hawkins.
The minutes of the previous session were read and approved.
Under the head of applioations for licenses the following were granted,-
Eunice Thomas
Evelyn Smith
1 Beauty parlor chair
Norway rooms ( 9 rooms

Under the head of Reading and Passage of Ordinances the following Ordinanoe was read
by title and plaoed on its Third reading,-
AN ORDINANCE,Prohibiting the sale or gift of liquor in publiO places; prohibiting the
sale or giftof liquor to minors; prohibiting the drinking of liquor in public plaoes;
defining as a nuisanoe oertain places operating in violation of the law and'oity
ordinanoes and providing for the olosing and abatement thereof: repealing ordinances
No. 404, No. 550 and 610 and all other ordinanaes in conflict herewith and deolaring an
emergenoy.
It was moved by Mayor Davis that the Ordinanoe be placed on its final reading and
adopted. Seoonded by Commissioner Filion. On roll call all members voted aye. The Mayor
declared the motion carried.
Under the head of Introduotion of Ordinances the following Ordinanae was introduced
read in full and plaoed on its First and Second readings,-
An Ordinanoe fixing the salariss,oompensation and wages of oertain offioers and
employes of the oity of Port Angeles,Washington,
The offioial Bond of Thos Geisness Polioe Judge was approved by the City Attorney
as to form.
The Commission examined and allowed the following olaims and ordered warrants drawn
for same,-
