The COllllIlisaion '""t in regular aesaion at 10 A.I.!. and waa called to order by Mayor Robinson. Roll call
showed the following officers present: Mayor Robinson, Commissioner llasters, Attorney Johnston and JJ1erk;
Hawkins.
Tho minutes of the II' evious session were read an:! approved.
Under the head of Applications for Building k'ermits and Licensea the following were granted:

Under the head of Introduction of Resolutionsthe following resolutions were introduced:
RESOLUTION
I
WHEREAS, The City of Pert Angeles is the owner of the following described real property, having acquired
the same by Treasurer's deed dated Septemlmzr 20, 1959, under and by virtue of thelUthority Of Section 9595
of Remington's Revised Statutes, Chapter 145 of the aws of 1929, page 365, to-wit:
North One-half (!J of Lot 17 & 18, Block TWo Hundred Forty-seven (247),
Townsite of Port I~eles, WaShington, and
WHEREAS, Guy K. Watson has offered to purchase the above described real property from the City of Port
Angeles for the sum of $75.00, and
WHEREAS, The City Commission has viewed the said property and is of th.. opinion that the offer is fair
value and that at this time it is to the best interest of the City that is should be accepted and the sale
made.
NOl'I, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the said cffer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the
said property at private sale to the said Guy K. Watson for the sum hereinabove set forth, subject to any
other valid liens ag8inst the same; that the City Attorney 00 instructed to prepare a quit cldm deed con-
veying said property to the purchaser, and that the City Cll'l:ric of the City of Port Angeles be and he is
nereby instructed to execute said quit clUm deed, and tnat the l!ayor of the City of Port Angeles be and he
is hereqy instructed to countersign said quit cl~im deed.
It lrQS moved by Coumicsioner Masters that tho foregoing resolution be approved and adopted. Seconded qy
Mayor Robinson. On roll call all members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, ..he City of Port Angeles is the owner of the following described reel property, having acquired the

Remington's Revised Statutes, Chapter 143 of the Laws of 1929, page 365, to-wit:
South One-half (~) of Lots 17 & 18, Block Two Hundred Forti-seven (247),
Townsite of Port Angeles, Washington, and
WHEREAS, John H. Hoflin and Anna L. Hoflin, husband and wife, have offered to purchase tne above described
red property from the City of Port Ang~les for the sum of $75.00, a od
WHEREAS, The City Commission has viewed the said property and is of the opinion that the offer is fair
value and that at this tilll9 it is to the best interest of the City that it should be accepted and the sde
made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RZSOLVED that the siid offer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the
said property ~t private sale to the said John H. P.oflin and Anna 1. Hoflin, husband and wife, for the sum
hereinibove set forth, subject to any other valid liens against the same; that the City Attorney be in-
structed to prepare a quit claim deed conveying said property to the purchaoer, and that the City Clerk of
the City of Port ~~eles be and he is hereby instructed to execute said quit cla.1m deed, and that the Mayor
of the City of Port Angeles be anci he is hereqy instructed to countersign said quit claim deed.
It was moved by COIlmIissioner Masters that the foregoing resolution be approved and adopted. Seconded by
Mayor Robinson. On roD. call all members voted aye. The ~...yor declared the motion carried.
