The Commissio met
Roll oall showed the
Attorney Plummer and
in regular session at 10 a.m.and was oalled to order by Mayor Davis .1
following offioers' present.Mayor Davis,Commissioners Lutz and Masters,
Clerk Hawkins".
The minutes of the previous session were read and approved.
Under the head of applioation for lioenses the following were granted.

Under the head of oommunioations and petitions,the petition of Bert M.Berg asking for
damages on account of a break in the' sewer caused by recent flood and high water and
allowing the sewerage to run through his garden,was read and rejected and ordered filed.
Under the head of New Business,-
It' appearing that the time had oome for letting a contract to furnish lamps for the
varioU!l City Departments ,-' .
It was moved by Mayor Davis that the City Cl'erk issue a call for bids to!'furnish
series and multiple Maza Lamps on the basis of $1200.00 net value for the various
City Departments for the fisoal year of 1934. Said bids to be opened January 10th,1934
at 10 a.m. Seconded by Commissioner Lutz. On roll call all members voted aye. The Mayor
deolared the motion oarried.
It was moved by Mayor Davis that the City Attorney be authorized to bring the
naoessary suit in court to protect the interest of the City in the D1ght and Water tax
oase now pending in the Supreme Court. Seoonded by Commissioner Lutz. On roll call all
members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
Under the head of Introduotion of Resolutiond the following resolution was introduced,-
RESOLUTION FOR SALE OF PROPERTY
Vfuereas,the City of Port Angeles is the owner of the following described real estate,
to wi t:
Lot l4,Blook 63, Lewis & Mastiok's Su~division to the City of Port Angeles,Washington,
VIHEHEA3, one Marion Louise stacey has offerred to purohase said property and give in
exchange thereforBto the City of Port Angeles a deed to the following described property,
to wit:
Lot 4mBlock 229, Townsite of Port Angeles,Washington.
WHEREAS, it appears that the property immediately above desoribed which is o~ferred
by the said Marion Louise Stecey adjoins property now owned by the City of Port Angeles
and used for the storage of street grading machinery and equipment and that the lot so
offerred is desirable for that purpose and of aaYailiue to the City of rort Angeles of at
least the same value as the property first above described at present belonging to the
City and it is desirable that the City make the exohange as herein indicated for the
benefi1; of the Department of streets and l'Ublio Improvements.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the City of Port Angeles accept from the said Marion
Loiise Staoey a deed oonveying merchantable title to the said Lot 4, Blook 229, Townsite,
and in exchange therefor execute to the said Marion Lo~ise stacey a deed conveying
merohantable title to Lot 14, Blook 63; LeWis & Mastick's Subdivision to the City of
Port An.geles,\1ashington. Suojeot to unpaid Local !iilllprovement AssesslJlents.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Treasurer of the City of Port Angeles be and
said officer is hereby instructed to make and execute the proper and sufficient deed to
said property to the grantee herein indicated and deliver the same accepting in exchange
theregor the deed indioated by this resolution.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Attorney be and he is hereby instruoted to
prepare the deed for the exeoution by the City Treasurer and if desired the deed from
the said Marion Louise Staoey to the said City of Port Angeles. '
It was moved by Commissioner Masters that the foregoing resolution be adopted.
Seoonded by Commissioner Lutz. On roll oall all members voted aye. The Mayor declared
the motion carried.
The Commission examined and allowed the following claims and ordered warrants drawn
for same,-
