The Commission met in regular session at 10:00 A.M. and was called to order by Mayor Feeley. pre.sent were: Mayor Feeley, Commissioner Robinson, Attorney Trumbull and Clerk Law,. Officers Minutes of the previous session were read an:! approved. Lynch S~cond hand dealer. 'J .50' Under the head of unfinished business, the haaring on assessment rolls for L.I.D. No. 159 was opened. No I objections having been made or filed, it was moved qy Mayor Feelef that the hearing be closed and rolls lIuomitted to the Treasurer for collections during the required thirty day"period, and the Attorney instruct- ed );0 prepare necessary documents for the District. Motion seconded qy Commissioner Robinson. All voted I Aye. Motion carried. Under the head of new business, the Commission referred to Mr. Taylor and the Engineer, a petition request~ng opening of 16th Street from B Street to C street in Blocks 442 and 429. '1 Felix Gallacci requested transfers in the Parking meter and Traffic Control cu..rent budget as follows: From: To: . Paint and Repairs Bond $ 5.00 Paint and Repairs Meter Parts alii Replacements 60.00' It was moved qy May-or Feeley that the transfers be made as requested. Seconded qy COllllllissioner Robinson. All voted Aye. The Commission discussed refund due the City by reduction in electrical rates to the P.U.D., of which the City has not received benefit. It was moved by Commissioner Robinson that the Attorney be instructed to proceed with any steps necessary to collect refund on rates, and if necessary to take court action. Motion seconded by Mayor Feeley. All voted Aye. Motion carried. Under the head of reading and passa.ge of Ordinances, the following were placed on third and final reading: ORDINANCE NO. 1268 AN ORDINANCE authorizing the issuance and sale of Local Improvement Bonds for Local Improvement District No.1 154 of the City of Port Angeles to pay the cost and expense of the improvements in said district as ordered and provided for in Ordinance No. 1245 of the City of pott Angeles; providing for the term of such bonds andj fixing interest rates. It was moved by Commissioner Robinson that the foregoing Ordinance be passed third and final reading and J adopted. Seconded by Mayor Feeley. All voted fAye. Motion carried. ORDINANCE NO. 1269 AN ORDINANCE stating the facts of an emergency affecting the public safety, welfare and convenience of the City of Port Angeles; requiring the unforeseen expenditure of funds; providing for the issuance of emergency warrants; and declaring an emergency. It was moved by l'>03or Feeley that the foreRoing Ordinance be passed Third and final reading and adopted. Seconded by Commissioner Robinson. All voted ~e. Motion carried. ORDINANCE NO. 1270 AN ORDINANCE stating the facts of an emergency affecting thepublic welfare, safety and convenience of the City of Port Angeles; requiring the unforeseen expenditure of funds; providliu1g for the issuance of emergency warrants; and declaring an emergency. Under the head of introduction and reading of Ordinances, the following was introduced and placed on first and second reading: ORDINANCE NO. 1271 AN ORDINANCE fixing the monthly salaries, compensation and wages of certain officers and employees of the City of Port Angeles, lofashington. It was moved by Commissioner Robinson that the foregoing Ordinance be passed fimt and second reading. , Seconded by MaYor Feeley. All voted A:ye. Motion carried.
