INFORMATION Manager Myers directed attention to the various reports available in the packet, noted the Council City Manager Reports: retreat to take place on April 18, recognized 1. Finance – February Newsletter M-1 accomplishments and awards of employees which 2. Planning Commission Minutes - February 25, 2009 M-3 included Karen Rogers, Officer Heuett,, and 3. PA Forward Minutes – February 12, 2009 M-7 Firefighter Jeremy Church and others. 4. Building Report – February 2009 M-11 A brief update was given on the Gateway project. Chief McKeen provided a brief update on the Fire Dept. consolidation efforts. N. EXECUTIVE SESSION - None. O.ADJOURNMENT - 9:45 p.m. PUBLIC HEARINGS Public hearings are set by the City Council in order to meet legal requirements. In addition, the City Council may set a public hearing in order to receive public input prior to making decisions which impact the citizens. Certain matters may be controversial, and the City Council may choose to seek public opinion through the public hearing process.
