A. CALL TO ORDER – SPECIAL MEETING AT 5:00 p.m. –
for the purpose of conducting an Executive Session
under the authority of RCW 42.30.110(1)(i), to discuss potential litigation with legal counsel.

EMPLOYEE RECOGNITIONS ---- None.
PUBLIC COMMENT –
Mike Millar, spoke against the City moving forward with the licensing of all businesses, and passed
out a petition against any further fees or charges being placed on businesses by a City Business licensing program. Jody Moss,
thanked Council and Staff for their participation and support in the United Way Celebrity Bagger event. Barb Frederick, issued an
invitation to Council and Staff to attend the November 13, Olympic Visions Mural dedication at First and Laurel Streets.
Council passed a motion by 6-1 to direct staff to stop researching the licensing of all businesses in Port Angeles.
C. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS –
Councilmember Downie spoke regarding the Council’s trip to the Bellingham to tour their
waterfront properties. Deputy Mayor Perry spoke regarding his attendance at the grand opening of the new Wal-Mart. Mayor Di
Guilio, Councilmember Nelson, Mania, Collins, and Kidd had no reports.

order to receive public input prior to making decisions which impact the citizens. Certain matters may be controversial, and the City
Council may choose to seek public opinion through the public hearing process.
