CALL TO ORDER- Regular Meeting (6:00 p.m.) 6:02 p.m. ROLL CALL - All Present Bo PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - Led by Councilmember Pittis PUBLIC CEREMONIES, Proclamation re: Hwy. 101 Traffic Safety Project PRESENTATIONS AND read by Councilmember Munro PROCLAMATIONS WORK SESSION None. (1) LATE ITEMS TO BE PLACED ON THIS OR FUTURE AGENDAS as determined by City Manager or City Council member City Attorney Bloor asked to discuss the hosting of the 2005 Paddle Journey by the Lower Elwha Tribe and the City's participation in same. This was added as item 1 under Other Considerations. (2) PUBLIC COMMENT This is an opportunity for members of the public to speak to the City Council about anything. To allow time for the Council to complete its legislative agenda, comments should be limited to no more than 5 minutes per person and a total of 15 minutes for this comment period. (These time periods may be lengthened or shortened at the discretion of the Mayor.) Jack Harmon, POB 928, addressed the Council to state that the letter from Diane Tschimperle, dated November 22, 2004, did not reflect the opinion of the Board. Paul Lamoureux asked for clarification of one item of the check register and asked when Councilmember Williams will give his report on the Solar Energy Conference he attended. Councilmember Williams report will be placed on the next agenda. Dave Chastain 910 Pine St., asked Council to consider improvements to the alley behind his home, and wheel chair ramps and traffic signals for the comer of 8th and Pine Streets. Larry Little, 1234 E. 2nd St., addressed the Council regarding City possible funding for the Olympic Discovery Marathon. D. FINANCE None.
