A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Port Angeles,
Washington, setting a hearing date for a petition to vacate a portion of
the 3/4 alley west of Francis Street.
WHEREAS, a petition is on file with the City of Port Angeles to vacate a portion of thc
t/4 alley west of Francis Street abutting Lot 15, Block 63 Lewis and Mastick's Subdivision of
~uburban Lot 22 and Lot 6, Block 3 Cain's Addition to the Townsite of Port Angeles; and
WHEREAS, the petition has been signed by the owners of more than two-thirds of the
~roperty abutting upon the right-of-way to be vacated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
~ngeles as follows:
Section 1. The petition to vacate the above-described City right-of-way shall be heard
ind determined by thc City Council in the Council Chambers, 321 East Fifth Street, at thc Council's
7egular meeting on July 23, 2002 at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, which is not more
:ban sixty (60) days nor less than twenty (20) days hereafter.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give twenty (20) days notice of the
~endency of the petition and the time and place of the hearing in accordance with the provisions of
1CW 35.79.020.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles at a regular meeting of said
~ouncil held on the 2nd day of July, 2002.
