A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Port Angeles,
Washington, setting a hearing date of June 21, 2011 for
consideration of a petition to vacate a portion of 19 Street within
the Airport Industrial Park, Port Angeles, WA.
WHEREAS, a petition is on file with the City of Port Angeles to vacate a portion of
a right -of -way located on 19 Street in the Airport Industrial Park, Townsite of Port Angeles,
Washington, as shown on the attached as Exhibit A and B; and
WHEREAS, the petition has been signed by the owners of more than two thirds of the
property abutting upon the right -of -way to be vacated; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Angeles as follows:
Section 1. The City Council will hear and consider the Petition.
Section 2. The petition to vacate the above described City right -of -way shall be
heard by the City Council in the Council Chambers, 321 East Fifth Street, at the Council's
regular meeting at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, on June 21, 2011.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give twenty (20) days notice of the
pendency of the petition and the time and place of the hearing in accordance with the
provisions of RCW 35.79.020.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles at a regular meeting of said
Council held on the 17 day of May, 2011.
