HomeMy WebLinkAbout19-12S A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Port Angeles, Washington, setting a hearing date of October 16, 2012 for consideration of a petition to vacate a portion of the Fountain/Glenwood Avenue alley in Block 18, Pennsylvania Park Addition, Port Angeles, WA. WHEREAS, a petition is on file with the City of Port Angeles to vacate a portion of the Fountain/Glenwood alley abutting Lots 4 -17, Block 18, Pennsylvania Park Addition, Port Angeles, as shown on the attached as Exhibit A; and WHEREAS, the petition has been signed by the owners of more than two- thirds of the property abutting upon the right -of -way to be vacated. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles as follows: Section 1. The petition to vacate the above described City right -of -way shall be heard by the City Council in the Council Chambers, 321 East Fifth Street, at the Council's regular meeting at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, on October 16, 2012. Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give twenty (20) days notice of the pendency of the petition and the time and place of the hearing in accordance with the provisions of RCW 35.79.020.
