A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of
Port Angeles, Washington designating June 19,
1976 as Second National City Day.
WHEREAS, the City of Port Angeles is the Second National
City 'established in the United States of America; and whereas
the year 1976 is the Bicentennial year for this country and June
19, 1976" will be the l14th anniversary of the founding of this
City as a National City; and whereas the celebrating of this
day by the citizens of this community will be an appropriate
time and occasion to officially join in the bicentennial
celebration of our country;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Port Angeles that June 19, 1976 is hereby designated
as "Second National City Day" and all citizens of Port Angeles
are invited to join in the celebration.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles
and approved by its Mayor at a regular meeting of the Council
held..on the. 16th day of September, 1975.
