HomeMy WebLinkAbout23-85 e e RESOLUTION NO. ~3-1)5 A RESOLUTION of the City of Port Angeles setting a hearing date for a petition to vacate the unvacated portion of Washington Street lying north of and adjacent to Lots 8 and 9, Block 5, Green's Belle View Addition. WHEREAS, the owner of interest in the unvacated portion of Washington Street lying north of and adjacent to Lots 8 and 9, Block 5, Green's Belle View Addition, has filed a petition with the City Clerk to make vacation of that portion of Washington street lying north of and abutting said lots; and WHEREAS, said petition has been signed by the owners of more than two-thirds of the property abutting upon the right-of- way sought to be vacated; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES as follows: Section 1. The petition to make such vacation shall be heard and determined by this Council on the 17th day of September, 1985, which is not more than sixty (60) days nor less than twenty (20) days hereafter. Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give twenty (20) days notice of the pendency of said petition according to the provisions of RCW 35.79.020. As part of the ongoing weed abatement program, the Public Works Daparbnent inspected nine (9) more lots on August 13, 1985, of which five (5) have, I::::een cleared and four (4) remain a fire/traffic hazard or a public nuisance.'
