WHEREAS, the City of Port Angeles and the Bonneville
Power Administration entered into a Contract No. DE -MS79-
83BP91362, Residential Weatherization Program Conservation
Agreement, which contract was approved by the City Council on
September 21, 1983; and
WHEREAS, the Bonneville Power Administration and the
City Light staff have recommended that said Contract be amended
to provide that indemnification provisions of the Agreement shall
apply only to acts or omissions arising out of the Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the best
interests of the City and its electrical energy consumers to
enter into the proposed Amendatory Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute Amendatory Agreement No. 7 to
Contract No. DE- MS79- 83BP91362 between the City of Port Angeles
and the United States Department of Energy, Bonneville Power
Administration, which Amendatory Agreement shall be effective
October 1, 1984.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles
at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 16th day of
October, 1984.
