properly posted for hearin~ at this time.
Mr. Richard L. Powless of 605 South "I" Street had requested a
variance which would allow him to make an addition to his exist-
ing single family residence. The addition would extend the house
toward "I" Street two feet but would not extend the building any
closer to 6th Str~et than it is at present. The setbacks after
the addition would be 19 feet from the south right of way line
of 6th Street and 15 feet from the east right of way line of 11111
Street. It was voted by the Planning Commission to recommend
appro val 0 f the requ e st.

The Port of Port Angeles had requested a variance to allow them
to construct a single family residence in an M-l zone. The
structure is proposed for erection in the hanger and administra-
tive area at the airport as housing for the airport manager and
his family. The Planning Commission voted to recommend approval
of the request.
A request from the Clallam County Library for an extension of the
variance granted them, to construct an additional stall for their
bookmobiles closer to the property linp. than permitted in that
zone, was received. The variance has not been exercised as
efforts are being made to acquire additional property. This
would p.nable them to construct the additional stall as orginally
planned, instead of necessitating narrower dimensions. It was
voted to recommend the extension be approved.
Mr. Rennie Anderson was welcomed back to the Planning Commission
followinq his reappointment. His new term will expire March 1,
1974.
No further business was presented and the meeting adiourned at 8:00
