II ROLL CALL Members Present: Lorraine Ross, Ted Puckett, Jim Hulett, Jerry Cornell, Brad Banner Members Absent: Todd Holm, Dick Anderson. Staff Present: Paul D. Carr, Dan VanHemert, Gary Braun. III APPROVAL OF MINUTES . Mr. Cornell moved to approve the minutes of November 9, 1983, as submitted. Ms. Ross seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. IV COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC None. V PUBLIC HEARINGS DelHur Annexation Ers Hearing Mr. Carr reviewed the hearing procedures for a public hearing on a Draft EIS. Mr. VanHemert reviewed the annexation request. Chairman Hulett opened the public hearing. Jim Miller of Nautilus and Associates briefly summarized the Draft EIS. The Commission asked a number of ques- tions. Tony Sample, representing DelHur, Inc., explained the nature of the annexation and future development, submitted two maps, and asked questions about the Draft EIS. There was no other comment from the general public although there were approximately eight people in the audience. Chairman Hulett closed the public hearing. . Pursuant to the requirements of State law, Nautilus and Associates will respond to the questions raised during the public hearing in the Final EIS. PLANNING COMMISSION November 16, 1983 Page 2 . VI STAFF REPORTS commercial Zoning Mr. Carr distributed the latest drafts of the proposed commercial zones and Commercial Use List Matrix. Follow- ing a brief discussion, Mr. Cornell moved to set December 14, 1983, as a public hearing to consider replacing the existing CAD Commercial Zoning with the proposed AC Com- mercial Zoning and rezone the CAD and CAD-R Commercial Zones to AC. Ms. Ross seconded the motion which passed unanimously. VII REPORTS OF COMMISSIONERS Chairman Hulett suggested contacting people living in the Dry Creek area so they could observe the current an- nexation EIS process in preparation for the upcoming annexation. There were no other reports from Commissioners. VIII ADJOURNMENT . The meeting adjourned at 9:25 P.M. ~ Paul D.
