Old Business
A formal application from Time Oil Co. to permit erection
of residential quarters at their proposed self-service gasoline
station at Marine Drive and First Street had been received and
properly posted for hearing at this time. After a lengthy
discussion, it was voted to recommend approval, contingent upon
the area in the living quarters being increased to meet minimum
requirements of the current city building code. The Planning
Commission members also directed the secretary to call the
Councils attention to the memorandum from the Fire Chief relative
to this application. Members felt this aspect of the request was
outside the Planning Commissions jurisdiction.
