Dear Mayor Di Guilio,
On Friday,November 110' our Royal Canadian Legion will once again be holding
Remembrance Day Ceremonies to honour those Canadian and American citizens who
gave their lives in service for their countries. The ceremonies will take place at the War
Memorial located on the lawns of the Parliament Buildings in Victoria at 11:00 a.m.
I am pleased to confirm Deputy Mayor Don Perry will be attending on behalf of your
city. I will meet Deputy Mayor Perry at the War Memorial at approximately 10:50 a.m.
After the ceremony, Acting Mayor Charlayne Thornton-Joe would be pleased to have
Deputy Mayor Perry accompany her to a local Legion Branch to meet members and
enjoy lunch in the company of our retired and serving Armed Forces Service members.
After lunch, Deputy Mayor Perry will be free to enjoy Victoria.

REMEMBRANCE DAY CEREMONY IN VICTORIA— NOVEMBER 11, 2011
