CALL TO ORDER SPECIAL MEETING:
Mayor Di Guilio called the special meeting of the Port Angeles City Council to order at 5 p.m.
ROLL CALL:
Members Present: Mayor Di Guilio,Councilmembers Bruch,Gase,Collins and Whetham.
Members Absent: Councilmember Kidd and Deputy Mayor Downie.
Staff Present: City Manager McKeen,Attorney Bloor,Clerk Veneklasen,B. Olson,N. West, S. Wright,C. Fulton,
K. Dubuc,T. Gallagher and C.Delikat.
WORKSESSION:
City Manager McKeen conducted a PowerPoint presentation outlining where the priority setting process is to date.
He said today's work session was meant to be an interaction between staff and Council where they can ask questions
about the lower priority items submitted to Council last month.He reminded Council that their scorecards are due to
the City Manager's office by March 30. Council will meet again on April 23 to go over results of the scorecard
results.
Manager McKeen said the goals of Priority Setting are:
• To ensure the City's resources are used effectively,
• To place focus on priorities that matter most to citizens,and
• To establish priorities that guide City staff in resource allocation.
Council questions and discussion followed.
ADJOURNMENT: Mayor Di Guilio adjourned the meeting at 6:04 p.m.
