Dear Andy,
It is with my deepest sympathy that I reach out once again to the City of Chattanooga. Your community
has suffered a tee-rible tragedy, and during this time of sorrow, please know that our City sends healing
thoughts to you and your neighbors. Our country lost five brave men last Thursday—soldiers, fathers,
brothers and sons. Your pain and loss is felt by all those in our community, especially those who have
loved ones who serve. Our prayers are with your citizens during this sad time when minds are no doubt
clouded with questions and hearts broken from loss.
Though we can do nothing to change the events of evil that have occurred, we know that your resilient
community will come together through this time of sadness and fear. There are no words that repair the
damage that has been done to your beautiful City's sense of peace. We can only hope that through this,
your community will join together to rebuild its sense of safety, connection and common good.
Since y,
Dan DiGuilio
