Dear ,,--
As someone who can truly impact and shape public policy,we at the League of Women Voters of
Clallam County and the Mandala Center for Change invite you to attend our upcoming Legislative
Theatre event focused on the struggles that the youth of Clallam County face in their daily lives.
Legislative Theatre is a unique, engaging and effective venue to hear directly from people what
policies and laws they would like to see enacted to address specific issues.
Our youth are our future. Legislative Theatre gives us the opportunity to collectively envision
solutions to the problems of homelessness, substance abuse, poor school attendance, and limited
employment which place that future in jeopardy. join ass in June to learn first-hand from
affected youth what they need to stay productive and positive members of our community.
Two public performances are scheduled at the City of Port Angeles Vern Burton Center in Port
Angeles.
Friday June 24 6.30 -9.30 PM
Saturday June 25 6.30-9.30 PM
Your presence can greatly enhance the power and potential impact of this event. Consider
attending one or both evenings with your fellow legislators to witness the process and lend your
ear. Legislative Theatre requires the participation of the audience; consequently proposed
legislative solutions can be very different depending upon the makeup of each evening's
audience.
Please RSVP to Eileen Herding,Chairwoman and Board Member of LWVCLA by May 20th:
