RE: Olpi-ipic Clean Air Agency Board Seat
Dear Ms. McNair,
The Port Angeles City Council has had a representative on the Olympic Clean Air Agency
(ORCAA) Board for a number of years. Recently, the City of Tumwater annexed, changing
the population assessment. Due to this annexation, Tumwater has now replaced Port Angeles
as one of the three largest cities in our region. Rather than appoint a Councilmember for the
remainder of 2016, the City of Port Angeles has chosen to step down to allow the City of
Tumwater to take over the seat.
This letter is to inform you that while we have been grateful for the opportunity to participate
on the ORCAA board, we have chosen to step down to allow Tumwater to assume the position
for the remainder of the year. This will offer the new Board member the opportunity to
acquaint themselves on the many important matters related to ORCAA.
Thank you again for the opportunity.
Sincerely,yours,
14
