Dear Mayor Chiu Chien -Fu,
Thank you for the recent opportunity to visit with you and guests of Chang -Hua City. I was
truly honored to show you around our City Hall as well as several unique places near our
City. I hope that all who participated enjoyed the visit as much as I did. Also, I would like to
thank you for the beautiful framed picture of the water god that I was presented during your
visit. It will be hung here in City Hall where all can see.
During our visit I was joined by fellow Councilmembers, Deputy Mayor Cherie Kidd and
Councilmember Dan Gase. We are grateful for the opportunity to visit with many of the
members of your group. During our lunch we shared many of the same sentiments,
expressing mutual interest in City issues and discussed forging cultural and business
relationships. I look forward to taking a step forward in this mutual interest.
Again, I thank you for visiting the City of Port Angeles. I believe we can begin taking steps
towards building our relationships. I have learned many things about Chang -Hua City in a
short amount of time and I look forward to cultivating our new relationship, both in friendship
and industry.
