The lot is within the Madrona Woods Subdivision. The
residential structure may NOT be finaled until
infrastructure for the subdivision is installed and
approved.
Building address sign shall not be less than 6" & not more

infrastructure for the subdivision is installed and

We have checked this plan and find that it conforms to the requirements of our ordinance.
Additionally:
1. All systems including underground mains, shall be installed by a state licensed and
certified company. The system shall be installed as per NFP A l3D.
2. All electrical components shall be compatible with the fire alarm system voltage and as
per P AMC and Washington Administrative Codes.
3. All systems will require witness underground flushing, hydrostatic tests for system, and
underground pipe schedule inspection by the Port Angeles Fire Department prior to being
covered. (R-3 and R-l requires design sprinkler flow.)
4. Before final acceptance of the system, an inspection will conducted by the Port Angeles
Fire Department to ensure the system installation complies with NFP A 13D.

Product Description
The Reliable Model F1/RES CCP Concealed Sprinkler is an
attractive, low profile concealed residential sprinkler assem-
bly, This sprinkler assembly utilizes a Model F1/RES 181550F
(680C) pendent residential sprinkler in a Model CCP cup and
push on thread off cover plate assembly. The cup is securely
factory threaded on the sprinklers inlet end. The assembly is
shipped WITh a protective cap, The sprinkler and cup are eas-
ily installed into the drop nipple using the Model RC1 Sprinkler
Wrench. The attractive, low profile cover plate assembly is at-
tached to the sprinkler cup using a strong threaded
engagement
Two attractive cover plate assemblies are available; the
first provides 1'2" (13mm) of cover plate adjustment while the
second provides an even lower profile with 5'6" (8mm) maxi-
mum adjustment
The Model F1/RES CCP Concealed Residential Sprinkler is a
fast response residential glass bulb sprinkler. This sprinkler uti-
lizes a 3.Omm frangible glass bulb, These sprinklers have dem-
onstrated response times approximately 5 times faster than
standard response sprinklers of the same temperature rating.
The Model F1/RES CCP Calcealed Residential Sprinkler dis-
charges water in an hemispherical pattern beloN the sprinkler
deflector. The residential distribution pattern is higher and gener-
ally contains a finer droplet size than standard sprinkler patterns.

This combination of speed of response and special distri-
bution pattern has demonstrated, in fire testing, an ability to
control residential fires, providing significant evacuation time
for occupants. The Model F1/RES CCP Concealed Residen-
tial Sprinkler is a ULC Listed residential sprinkler intended to
be installed in wet pipe sprinkler systems of one and two
family dwellings and mobile homes, in residential occupan-
cies up to four stories in height, or in the residential portions of
any occupancy per NFPA13D, 13R, or 13,
Application and Installation
lhe Reliable Model F1/RES CCP Concealed Residential
Sprinkler uses the 1550F (68 C) Model F1/RES 18 Pendent
Residential Sprinkler with a threaded Model CCP cup which
is factory attached to the sprinkler. A protective cap is pro-
vided. The assembly is completed by the installation of the
attractive, low profile, 1350F (57 C) rated Model CCP push
on cover plate assembly. The cover plate and sprinkler cup
assemblies are joined using flexible tabs having a strong
threaded engagement. A choice of two cover plate assem-
blies provides either !,~" (13mm) or 5,6" (8mm) of cover ad-
justment The cover plate is attached to the skirt using 1350F
(57 C) ordinary temperature classification fusible alloy.
When the ceiling temperature rises, the solder attaching the
cover plate and skirt fuses, thus releasing the Cover plate
and exposing the sprinkler to the rising ceiling temperature.
Continued increases in air temperature cause sprinkler bulb
operation, which opens the waterway and alloNs the dis-
charging water to be distributed in a hemispherical pattern
below the sprinkler deflector.
Following installation, any secure engagement of the
cover plate assembly and cup assures that the sprinkler de-
flector is properly positioned relative to the ceiling.
The Reliable Model F1/RES CCP Concealed Sprinkler
must be installed in ceilings with a neutral or negative pres-
sure in the plenum space above the sprinkler.
After installation, inspect all sprinklers to ensure that both
the gap between the cover plate and skirt and the cup slots
are open and free from any air flow impediment.
Apply a Teflon*-based thread sealant to the sprinkler
threads only. After the protective cap is removed, the Model
RC1 Wrench is then used to engage the sprinkler wrench-
ing surfaces and to install the sprinkler in the fitting. A Z- 3
(67mm) diameter hole cut into the ceiling allows sprinkler in-
stallation and is properly covered by the cover plate. Push
the cover plate assembly by hand into the cup. Final adjust-
ment, if required, is made by turning the cover plate until the
flange is in contact with the ceiling surface. The Model
F1/RES CCP Concealed Sprinkler is only to be installed with
a 1350F (57 C) rated Model CCP Concealed cover plate
assembly,
Concealed cover plate/cup assemblies are listed
only for use with specific sprinklers. The use of any
other concealed cover plate/cup assembly with the
Model F1/RES 18 Sprinkler or the use of the Model
CCP Concealed cover plate assembly on any sprin-
kler with which it is not specifically listed may prevent
good fire protection and will void all guarantees, war-
ranties, listings and approvals,
Maintenance
Models F1/RES CCP Residential Sprinklers should be in-
spected quarterly, and the sprinkler system maintained in
accordance with NFPA 25,13, 130 and 13R. Do not clean
sprinkler with soap and water, ammonia or any other c1ean-

ing fluids. Remove dust by using a soft brush Of gen~e vac-
uuming, Remove any sprinkler which has been painted
(other than factory applied) or damaged or operated sprin-
klers, Prior to installation, sprinklers should be maintained in
the original cartons and packaging until used to minimize
the potential for damage to sprinklers that would cause im-
proper operation or non-operation,

tested for compatibility with FlameGuardTM CPVC Fire Sprinkler Products. Consult sprinkler head
manufacturer prior to use.
