Dear Mr. Gallacci,
On behalfofthe Port Angeles City Council, and as a member ofthe Clallam Transit Board, I wish
to commend you on the development and implementation of the "Strait Shot" bus service that will
provide a daily bus route from downtown Port Angeles to the Bainbridge Island ferry terminal.
Beginning in June, riders will be able to take the 75-mile, transfer-free service that will no doubt
be met with much enthusiasm by the community. This 7 day a week service will be much
appreciated by visitors and locals who make the commute and it will be an additional economic
boost to our local businesses. We also recognize that this will benefit the attendance rates at our
various festivals as well. We appreciate the work that went into establishing the route and wish
you much success on this new venture.
