Building address sign shall not be less than 6" & not more
than 12" in height. Numbers colors must contrast with wall
color they are mounted on. (Qrd. 14.36.050-E)
when roof gutters are installed, drains will located in dry
wells or piped to approved storm drain locations.
New subdivision outside the four minute response time shall
be equipped with a residential sprinkler system that is

Subject: 728 Currier Court - Transformer
Dear Gary:

In response to your letter, dated July 12, 2005. At the request and/or the
approval of the developer, the electric utility facilities were installed on the SE
corner of 728 Currier Court in 1993.
The facilities are located within a ten ft (10') easement indicated on the final plat.
If you wish the transformer relocated or the facilities modified, a redesign and
cost estimate will be created upon your request and at your expense. Upon
receipt of full payment for associated engineering and construction costs, all
required paperwork; the construction will be scheduled in five (5) to six (6)
weeks. This allows designing, material procurement and crew scheduling.
To answer concerns about transformer locations and required clearances:
~ The 50/50 property line split is not an option, because of fencing and other
issues.
~ The developer approves and/or requests specific placements of facilities
(Trenching, excavation and location).
~ Driveway locations are to be constructed per the Driveway Locations
Detail (enclosed).
~ Landscaping, etc., must allow clearances for unobstructed operation of
this equipment.

Highland Estates Planned Residential Community (off Golf Course Road)
Gentlemen,
We are building a new house at the above location in a planned development for the
"over 50" age group. The house is framed in now. The city was out yesterday and
marked the electrical lines so that we could dig for our electrical hookup.
This brought to our attention that the Transformer Box, located on our property, has lines
that feed across our lot to the neighboring house. Is this lel!al without an easement?

Our builder was also informed by the city electrical inspector that we need to stay 2 feet
away from this transformer box when we pour our driveway. We have very limited space
for our driveway due to the size of the lots in this development.
It seems to us that this transformer box should have been located 50% each on our lot and
the neighboring lot and should have been installed parallel with the property lines and the
street. Then the feed lines for each lot could be on each person's property and would not
be on the neighbor property. According to a layman's measurements, this box should be
relocated approximately 4 feet to the East.
We feel the current location will be a hazard when driving in and out of our garage. This
is a senior community and we feel this should be fixed now.
Are there laws and ordinances regarding the locations of transformer boxes? I would like
to see the "planned" location for these boxes for the initial development. It appears to us
that when this development was started the transformers were placed in a very haphazard
manner. We understand at least one in this community has been relocated due to its
improper location.

We would like to request that this one be moved BEFORE we hook up to it for our
electricity.
