The proposal will result in a new mfg home in the RS9 for
total lot cov of 5%. No land use issues anticipated.
Cap and mark location of existing sewer for future
connection.
1. Establishing Construction Access,
2. Install sediment controls BMPs.
3. Stabilize exposed soils.
4. Protect slopes from erosion.
5. Protect drain inlets.
G. Control pollutants including but not limited to spills,
concrete wash out, exposed aggregate processes, concrete
grinding and saw cut waste water.
7. Maintain temporary and permanent erosion control BMPS
during project.
All disturbed area's on site not covered by new improvements
should meet the attached soil quality and depth standard.
Consider applying for the City Green Infrastructure Rebate
of up to $750.00 towards the materials to install rain
garden to control roof and driveway runoff. Also rebates

Thank you Kim for your email. I spoke with the contractor that did the demo work and he made claim that the retaining
wall was part of the existing structure The foundation is now being used as a retaining wall and the structural
components have changed . it will be required by the 2012 IBC to be designed by an engineer. The retaining wall is
required to be engineered if any unbalanced soils and their surcharge exceed more than (2)two feet in height,
measured from the footing to the top of the wall. I am sure an Engineer will be able to look at this and help you resolve
it with multiple options.At this point it is a safety concern and I am afraid that I cannot approve or transfer the
responsibility of the code requirement into another entities hands.

I have confirmed with our contractor that I can now call in a re-inspection for the home. The crawl space, tags
and address have been complete.
I will call the City hot-line today and ask for a re-inspect for tomorrow: 4/29.
Jim, can you could please sign off on the home final so we can get this clients loan closed. As far as the
existing foundation wall; Rick Cavanaugh, the owner of Buy-Rite Homes is hoping that you will except a letter
from him regarding taking responsibility/liability? Since we are the contractor with the insurance bond he is
willing to take this on and clear the City of any future responsibility.
We would of addressed this in the very beginning, prior to the permit being issued if the question of concern
would of come to the table.
I sure appreciate your help on this. I know you are not liable..... so make it on us. We will write what ever
we need to close this file. The client will also get a copy of this so we are all on the same page.
