months, instead of a few weeks. Work on our remodeling is now proceeding slowly and

Dear Jim,
After his time in the hospital, it took several months for Allan to recover from his health
problems this past summer and fall. He has been able to work on our remodeling more
recently, but he still tires easily.
We just found out he has to have surgery in a couple weeks to remove a melanoma lesion
and will not be able to work while the incision heals, so that will be another set back. So
the work is proceeding slowly and intermittently, but the end of the project is in sight.
Please grant us another 6-month extension on our building permit#06-0

and may be icyised by the Building Division to comply with current fee schedules. Contact the Permit Coordinatoi at 417-4815 for assistance.
PLAN CHECK FEE:IF a plan check fee is due it must be submitted at the time the building pemait application and construction plans are
submitted. All other permit fees are due at the time of permit issuance.
EXPIRATION OF PLAN REVIEW: If no permit is issued within 180 days of the date of application,the application will expire. The
Building Official can extend the time for action by the applicant up to 180 days upon written request by the applicant(See Section RI 05.3.2
of the International Building/Residential Code,2003). No application can be extended more than once.
