CALL TO ORDER SPECIAL MEETING
The special meeting of the Port Angeles City Council began at 9:00 a.m.
Representing the City of Port Angeles: Mayor Bruch; Deputy Mayor Dexter; Councilmembers French, Kidd, Moran,
Schromen-Wawrin, and City Manager Nathan West, Clerk Martinez -Bailey; Administrative Assistant Sherry Curran;
Parks & Recreation Director Corey Delikat, Chief of Police Smith; Interim Finance Director Agesson.
Members Absent: Councilmember Merideth.
Representing the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe: Chairwoman Frances Charles; Council Member George Charles;
Enterprise Operations Officer Linty Hopie; Heritage Center Manager Suzie Bennett
SPECIAL MEETING
Chairwoman Frances Charles welcomed the group in the conference room at the Tribal Center, located at 2851
Lower Elwha Road, Port Angeles. A brief description of tribal lands and services occurred, and from there, a tour of
the tribal facilities followed. Facilities visited included: Tribal Center, Elwha Beach, Billy Whiteshoes Youth
Activity Field, Natural Resources, Elwha Justice Center, Elwha Health Clinic, and Klallam Counseling Services.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting ended at 11:00 a.m.
