Dear Honorable Mayor Miyashita,
It is with a very sad heart that I must ask for your forgiveness from your sister city Port
Angeles. We missed getting you our letter in time for your celebration and I humbly
apologize. It was our intent to participate and join with you on your great celebration by
sending you our warmest wishes on this day. We missed it and I am terribly saddened by this.
I hope you will forgive us. Despite our misstep, I hope your day of celebration carried on and
was filled with joy as your City celebrated 60 years of success.
