The following comments are based on the 1997 edition of the Uniform Fire Code. This list is not a
building permit. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section
of the Uniform Fire Code or any other federal, state or local regulations
1. Provide a 2A-10B:C fire extinguisher for the cooler addition. The extinguisher is to be
mounted adjacent to an exit, with the top of the extinguisher no more than 5' off the floor.
2. Provide a lighted exit sign over the northwest exit door from the cooler addition.
3. Any opening between the blast freezing unit and the existing building must be protected by
a self closing fire rated door.
4. Provide "NO PARKING - FIRE LANE" signs for the west facing wall of the cooler
addition. Clear access must be maintained for access to the rear of the building.
NOTE: Prior to the Occupancy Permit being issued, compliance to the above conditions
will be met.
